Once upon a time

Once upon a time there was a young woman. It was wintertime in a small cold country and she attended a camp over New Year´s Eve in a small city. It was a Christian camp with mostly young adults and there was a guest speaker who was from a country far away. On the last day of the camp he encouraged all attendants to go in a line so that he and other speakers/pastors could pray for them one by one. This young woman went in the line and when it was her turn she happened to stand in front of this tall man from the country far away. He did not knew this young woman, he had not even spoken to her before when he started to pray for her. And he started to speak over her life, something that he felt God showed to him in that moment. And he was brave, cause he could have been so wrong.

He said; "I see you on a big green field worshipping. You are free. You worship God with your whole heart and you do it when no one is looking. But I also see that that green field turns into a big stadium and you worship in front of thousands."

Those words ignited something in her spirit and she would hold them dearly secretly in her heart up to this day. He spoke right into her dreams and heart, but it was way bigger then she could imagine or even see. But she decided to trust God and if He wants that to happen, in His timing, then it can happen! And if not, then that´s okey as well.

That girl did not know then, that 6 years later that vision would become reality. In Sydney. At Colour conference. And she doesn´t think it stops here. Not at all. But this is just a simple testimony of God´s faithfulness and love towards one of his daughters.

That young woman had a green shirt.

And got to stand on the same stage as the worship leaders and musicians she has watched on youtube and been inspired by for many years from the other side of the world.

I love how God just says; Keep walking, keep your eyes on me and I will take you to places you never could have dreamed of. It´s not boring to be a follower of Jesus Christ. It´s an adventure!
